FancyAnt Games ("we") makes mobile games. We are an independent studio, and we treat your data the way we would want ours treated: by taking as little as we can, and by saying plainly what we take.

What is changing. This version of the policy, dated October 10, 2026, adds the things that arrive with the versions of our games released from late 2026: ads, a question about your age, and anonymous play statistics with crash reports. In Wiki Racers it also adds two things: a player who says they are under 13 gets no account, and players can report a racing name and block a player. If your copy of a game does not have them yet, those sections do not apply to it. The section on this website is as it was.

Progress, purchases and connected services

Core progress, settings and unlocks in Hop Up!!!, Nebbles, Drift Draft, Flip Dash! and LoHi are stored on your device. Device backups may retain copies. Where a game offers Game Center, Apple processes the scores, achievements and player information used by that service. Store purchases are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your payment-card details. Permanent purchases and consumable items have different restore behavior.

We do not sell personal data. Opening a source or support link connects to the destination website under its own privacy practices. LoHi's comparison data is bundled with the game; tapping a source link may open a public data provider such as Wikipedia.

Your age

Versions of our games released from late 2026 ask one question the first time you open them: the year you were born. The game keeps only whether you are under 13, and keeps it on your device. The year itself is not stored and is not sent to us. You can change your answer in the game's Settings.

The game uses that answer to decide how ads and play statistics work for you, as the next two sections describe. When the answer is under 13, the game marks its ad requests as made for a child, so Google treats them that way.

Ads

Versions of our games released from late 2026 show ads. There are two kinds. Rewarded ads play only when you choose to watch one, in return for something in the game. Full-screen ads can appear between runs. Gameplay will not require permission to track you across other apps.

The ads are provided by Google AdMob. To choose, show and measure them, Google's ad software inside the game receives information from your device: its network (IP) address, from which Google works out an approximate location such as a country or region; the kind of device and system; identifiers that tell one copy of the app from another; which ads were shown and whether you tapped one; and diagnostic information. It uses your device's advertising identifier only as described below.

If you told the game you are under 13: ads are not personalised and are limited to ads Google rates as suitable for a general audience. The game does not ask to track you and does not use your device's advertising identifier.

If you are 13 or over: where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks for your choices before any ad is requested. On iPhone and iPad the game then asks whether it may track your activity across other companies' apps and websites. If you allow it, Google uses your device's advertising identifier to show ads based on your interests. If you do not, you see ads that are not personalised, and the game works the same. Android has no such prompt: there, ads may use your device's advertising ID unless you declined in Google's consent message or have deleted that ID in your device's settings.

You can change these choices at any time: in the game under Settings, in Privacy choices, and on your device. On iPhone and iPad that is Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. On Android it is the Ads section of your device's settings, where you can delete your advertising ID.

Play statistics and crash reports

Versions of our games released from late 2026 record how the game is played, so we can fix bugs and balance levels: which screens are opened, when a level or run starts and how it ends, which items are unlocked or bought, how long the game takes to start, and what went wrong if it crashes. This is tied to a random number created when the game is installed. It is not tied to your name, email address, contacts or precise location, and it does not use your device's advertising identifier.

We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, both run by Google, to collect and store this. Google also works out a country or region from the network address it sees; we do not receive or keep the address.

You can switch this off in each game under Settings, with the switch called "Share anonymous play statistics". Switching it off deletes the random number and stops collection. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stays off until you switch it on. If you told the game you are under 13, the game does not send play statistics or crash reports to Google.

Because these statistics are not tied to your name or to an account, we cannot pick out one person's from a request by email. The switch is how you stop them and remove the number from your device.

Wiki Racers accounts and races

Wiki Racers asks your age (see Your age) before it creates any account. If you are 13 or over, it creates a guest account even if you do not register. The account's ID, guest name, race results, routes, move counts, times and achievements are stored on our game service, hosted by Cloudflare. Registering adds your chosen username, a hashed password and any email address you provide. Friends features store account relationships. Names and results may be visible to opponents, friends and leaderboard readers. A copy of the game that does not yet ask your age creates a guest account for every player.

If you told the game you are under 13: it creates no account on our game service and sends that service nothing. Solo play, the lesson, Expeditions, races against Hoot (the game's own owl) and the day's route all run on your device. Your racing name, stars, coins and results stay on your device, and no racing name is sent anywhere. Racing other people, friends and leaderboards need an account, so the game does not offer them. Articles are still requested from Wikipedia, as described below. If an account was made on the device before you gave that answer, the game stops using it but does not delete it. To have it deleted, follow our account-deletion instructions.

The app retains an authentication credential in protected device storage so it can recognize your account on a later visit. Browser sessions keep that credential for the current tab. We use account and race information to run matches, keep progress, produce rankings and protect the service. Network providers may process request metadata such as IP addresses as part of delivering and securing those requests.

Articles are requested from Wikipedia during play. Wikimedia receives those requests and standard network information such as your IP address. Wikipedia text is provided under its applicable licenses; each article includes links to the source, contributors and license.

Reports and blocks in Wiki Racers

Wherever Wiki Racers shows a name that another player chose (a race result, a lobby or a leaderboard), you can report the name and block the player. This keeps play safe, and app-store rules require it of games in which players see names that other players chose. A player who told the game they are under 13 has no account and meets no other players, so nothing in this section is collected from them.

Reports. A report is stored on our game service so that the studio can review it. It holds:

There is nowhere to type a message, and no free text is collected. Reports are reviewed by the studio, and a name or account that breaks the game's Community rules may be changed, suspended or removed.

Blocks. Your block list is stored against your account on our game service: which accounts you have blocked, the name each one had when you blocked it, and when. The game uses it so that you and a player you blocked are not matched again in Quick match or let into the same friends room, and so that their name is hidden from you. The app keeps a copy on your device so that names are hidden at once. You can see the list and unblock a player in Settings, under Community rules.

How long they are kept. Your block list is kept while your account exists; an entry is removed when you unblock that player, and the whole list is deleted with the account. A report is kept so that we can review it and act on it. Reports are not deleted on a schedule: a report stays on our game service until the account that filed it is deleted.

When an account is deleted. Deleting your account deletes your block list, removes your account from other players' block lists and deletes the reports you filed. A report that another player filed about your account is kept for review: it keeps the name as they saw it, but no longer says which account it was.

This website

fancyant.com counts its visitors with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. A small script from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com) reports each page view: the page, the site that linked to it, the kind of browser and device, the country the request came from and how quickly the page loaded. Cloudflare also hosts this site, so it handles the network request itself, including your IP address.

The site also keeps a few counts of its own: which game page was opened from another page, how far down a page people scroll (whether the games, the screenshots or the studio section came into view), whether the studio film was played, which support question was opened, and clicks on the "Meet the six games" button, the support address or, once games are released, a store badge. Each count is the name of the action, which game or link it was, and the page it happened on. It goes to fancyant.com itself, with no cookie and nothing that identifies you or ties one action to another.

We use these numbers to see which pages and games people look at. We do not use them for advertising, and this website shows no ads.

Other companies involved

Your choices and deletion

In versions of our games released from late 2026, each game's Settings has the switch for play statistics and crash reports, your ad choices, and the age you gave. The sections above say what each one does.

In Wiki Racers, open Settings and choose Delete Account. This is available for guest and registered accounts and removes the account's profile, race records, achievements and friendships from our active game database, along with its block list and the reports it filed (see Reports and blocks). The app then starts a new guest account. You can also export your profile and up to 100 recent games from the You tab.

Uninstalling an app does not delete server records, store purchase history or every backup; iOS may retain protected credentials after uninstall. If you cannot use the app, follow our Wiki Racers account-deletion request instructions. We verify ownership before deleting an account on request. Do not send passwords or authentication tokens.

Audience and children

Check each game's store age rating before downloading. Wiki Racers can reach a wide range of encyclopedia topics beyond the starting article, and is meant for players aged 13 and over.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us using the address below and we will delete it.
